John Griffith, Secretary-Treasurer, Eclipses 20 Years
with the Kentucky HBPA

Friday, May 23, 2008 marked the 20-year anniversary of John Griffith, secretary-treasurer of the Kentucky HBPA.

"He has been a valuable asset to the organization," commented Kentucky HBPA President Rick Hiles. "We have been extremely fortunate to be able to utilize John not only as a tremendous source of figures and accounting, but also as Marty's assistant.

Several members of the Board and horsemen attended a fete in John’s honor in Donamire’s suite at Churchill Downs. In addition, a race was named in his honor, and he received an expense-paid trip in appreciation of his valuable years of service.
